Expert Qualifications
Dr. Christi L. Cooper-Lehki has 18 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry. She earned her BA in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Charleston and her DO from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship in Osteopathic Medicine, a residency in Psychiatry, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, all at Detroit Medical Center. She also went on to complete a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry through West Virginia University Hospitals. Today, this expert is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Psychiatry. Formerly, this expert served as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. She was also the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Clinical Officer at Highland-Clarksburg Hospital. She currently serves as a Psychiatrist and as the Medical Director of the Division of Juvenile Services for PSIMED, Inc. She is also the Owner of Christi Cooper-Lehki, D.O., P.L.L.C., where she serves as a Psychiatrist. Moreover, she is a Psychiatrist at several Juvenile Detention Centers in West Virginia.
