Expert Qualifications
This expert has over 15 years of experience in medical billing. She is a Certified Professional Coder and a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders. She spent 15 years at the Michigan Institute of Urology, where she was in charge of training all new employees in the billing department. Currently, she is the senior medical billing and coding specialist at a private surgical practice in Michigan, where she oversees charge entry of all the medical professionals in the office. Further, she instructs two courses in medical billing and coding at a local medical career school.
