This highly qualified expert has over 15 years of nursing experience, specializing in mental health and psychiatric care. She earned her AS in nursing at the Community College of Denver before earning her MS in nursing from Metropolitan State College, and her MS in nursing from Colorado State University-Pueblo. She is currently in the process of completing her DNP. This expert is a licensed registered nurse while also being both certified and licensed as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, and acute care nurse practitioner. Formerly, this expert has served as an LPN at North Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, an RN at Colorado Acute Long Term Care Hospital, and RN at Sky Ridge Medical Center, and an ER nurse at St. Joseph Hospital. She also was a family nurse practitioner at QwikCare Urgent Care/Family Practice and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Peak View Behavioral Health Hospital. Currently, she serves as an owner of a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner at a private practice while also serving as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at both a detox center and substance treatment facility in Colorado.
