Expert Qualifications
This expert has 25 years of experience as a pharmacologist. After attending Eastern Michigan University for her BA this expert then went on to complete a PharmD at the University of Michigan and an MBA with a health policy focus at the University of California Irvine. She also completed a fellowship in health economics and outcomes research at the University of South Carolina. She is active in the field as a member of the International Cannabinoid Research Society and the American Society of Cannabis Pharmacists. She began her career working in various positions related to outcomes research with major pharmaceutical companies like Glaxo, Pfizer, Merck and Amgen. She held director positions at Pfizer, Amgen, Abbott and Astellas. Currently, she operates a biopharmaceutical consultancy and is the founder and CEO of a cannabis cooperative based in California.
