He earned his BS at Nagpur University, his MS at the University of Cincinnati and his PhD in civil engineering at Purdue University. He is a licensed professional engineer and active in his field as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the author of over 195 papers and 5 books. He has formerly served as an assistant professor of civil engineering at several universities including Polytechnic University (now NYU Tandon School of Engineering), the University of Cincinnati and Purdue University. In addition, he has formerly served as an associate professor of civil engineering and construction engineering at Purdue University as well as the past chair of the Global Leadership Forum for Construction Engineering and Management Programs. This expert currently serves as a professor of civil engineering and construction engineering and the head of the construction engineering and management program at a university in Indiana. In addition, he currently serves as a distinguished visiting professor of civil engineering at a university in China.
