This expert is a licensed professional civil engineer as well as a certified safety professional. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Cincinnati and received his JD from the University of Dayton. He has 25+ years of experience in construction specifically, safety and risk management. Previously, he served as a project engineer and a corporate safety and risk director for major construction and transportation companies. He was responsible for coordinating and managing all safety aspects of mid-sized contracting firms, including transportation and OSHA. Additionally, he has specific expertise in trenching, excavation, fall protection, and scaffolding. He is a nationally recognized speaker and the recipient of several awards. He has authored various publications and previously served as an adjunct professor at Universities. This expert is an authorized construction and general industry trainer for OSHA and is currently the president of a safety firm in Ohio
