Expert Qualifications
This expert has worked in the criminal justice field over 40 years, beginning her career in corrections and law enforcement. She is a criminologist, trainer, author, and consultant on crime issues to national and international organizations with expertise in gender and sexual violence. As a consultant with the National Institute of Corrections, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, US Department of Justice, US Attorney General, Pentagon, American University and numerous other groups, she has conducted research at adult and juvenile penitentiaries across the country. She has authored national training curricula on gender and corrections. She received her Bachelors degree in Sociology from Oregon State University ; two master's degrees at University of Oregon; Ph.D.in Sociology (classwork completed at University of Oregon; comps and dissertation through Columbia State University)
