Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert is a civil and environmental engineer with a research focus onĀ water and wastewater treatment technologies. He earned hisĀ BS and MS in environmental engineering from Kyoto University in Japan and subsequently earned his PhD in environmental engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is active in his field as a member of several professional organizations, including theĀ American Water Works Association, theĀ Water Environment Federation, and theĀ American Chemical Society. He is also active in academia as the author of over 40 peer-reviewed articles and 6 book chapters. He hasĀ been the receipt of over $4 million in grant funding and has lectured widely on topics in his field. Formerly, he served as a researchĀ engineer at the Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable System at the Georgia Institute of Technology as well as anĀ assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering at Michigan Technological University.
