Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert is specialized in sports biomechanics. He received his BS in kinanthropology and his MA in human kinetics from the University of Ottawa. He then went on to receive his PhD in orthopedic biomechanics from Karolinska Institute, a renowned research-led medical university in Stockholm, Sweden. This expert served as an external evaluator for a physical education program in the Buffalo region to develop and implement instruments to assess physical activity and wellness. He was the recipient of a baseball-specific research award for his project that increased baseball knowledge in regards to injury prevention. He has published 27 papers, 9 of which on sports biomechanics. This expert formerly was a professor in exercise sciences and currently works as an assistant professor in health professions education at a university in New York.
