Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has over 15 years of experience in the field of olfactory science studying odor perception. He earned his BS in psychology from Texas State University and then went on to receive a PhD in biology, with special training in the brain basis of olfactory perception from Boston University. He is active in his field as a member of the Society of Neuroscience and the Association of Chemoreception Sciences. He was formerly an associate research scientist for the University of Texas and an assistant research scientist for the Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research Emotional Brain Institute. Additionally, he was an assistant professor of neuroscience and biology at Case Western Reserve University and a research health scientist at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. He is currently an associate professor of pharmacology and therapeutics at a university in Florida.
