Expert Qualifications
This qualified expert has over 25 years of experience in human resources. She obtained her BS in business administration with a concentration in human resources from Towson University and her MA in human resources development from Bowie State University prior to receiving her Doctorate of Management from the University of Maryland. She is active in her field a as member of several professional organizations including the Society of Human Resources Management and has presented her work nationally. Formerly she has severed as the director of human resources for Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America as well as the associate vice president of human resources at the College of Southern Maryland. Most recently, she worked as the director of human resource standards for SHRM and as the VP of human resources for the American Nurses Association. Currently, she is a consultant specializing in human resources at a firm in Maryland.
