Expert Qualifications
Dr. Douglas L. Weed has over 42 years of experience in the field of Epidemiology. He earned his BS in Engineering from The Ohio State University and his MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He then went on to obtain both his Ph.D. and his MPH in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina Hospital, as well. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Faculty Member in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, as the Director of the Cancer Prevention Fellowship, and as the Chief of the Office of Preventive Oncology at the National Cancer Institute. He was also the Vice President of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Weinberg Group and an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of New Mexico. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Division of Public Health at the University of Utah School of Medicine and as the Founder and Managing Partner of DLW Consulting Services, LLC.
