She received her BA in biology and her MA in nutritional science at the University of Texas at Austin before earning her MD at the University of Texas Health Science Center. She subsequently completed an emergency medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital. This expert is board-certified in emergency medicine and is active in her field as a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She has formerly served as a clinical services specialist for Promed Clinical Systems, an emergency medicine physician at Uniontown Hospital, and the medical director for both Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and Cedar Park's freestanding emergency department. Currently, this expert serves as a physician for multiple medical centers in Texas and is both the chief of staff and the medical director of integrated acute care for one of these medical centers.
