Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified structural engineer has over 25 years of experience in the field. He earned his BS and MS in ocean engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and then completed a Masters of Engineering in structural engineering at the University of Florida. He is a licensed professional engineer in three states as well as the director fo the First Coast Chapter of the Building Officials Association of Florida. In the past, he has worked as a structural engineer at Rodney E. Lay and Associates as well as at Sandwell. He also worked as a principal engineer and project manager for MACTEC Engineering where he conducted forensic investigations and served as a resource manager for the structural/facilities department. Currently, he is the vice president and partner of a residential structural design firm in northeast Florida.
