This board-certified and fellowship-trained expert has 16 years of experience in forensic pathology. After receiving her M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, she finished a fellowship in Anatomic Pathology at the University of North Carolina and a fellowship in Forensic Pathology at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A member of the National Association of Medical Examiners and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, she has experience working at various offices, including Galveston County, Indiana University School of Medicine and the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office, as a medical examiner and forensic pathologist. Her primary practice is as a consultant in forensic pathology. She is President and Consultant for a forensic pathology consultation company, providing expertise in all types of death cases.
