This qualified and board certified expert has over 14 years of experience as a gastroenterologist. He holds a M.D. from the University College of Medical Sciences and has finished a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Albert Einstein Medical Center as well as an additional year fellowship in Interventional Endoscopy at the St Luke's Pancreaticobiliary Center in Milwaukee. Elected as a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, he has published several papers on endoscopic procedures and actively reviews professional journals including Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Diseases of the Esophagus. His past positions have included Assistant Professor of Medicine and Associate Director of Endoscopic Services. He currently serves as Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology & Professor of Medicine at a major university medical center. He is a recognized expert in therapeutic/interventional endoscopy and is engaged in teaching and training at the regional, national and international levels.
