Expert Qualifications
This board certified expert has been practicing for over 20 years. He completed his Pathology residency at the Holy Mercy Hospital of Sao Paulo and a second Pathology residency at the University of Texas - Houston prior to completing a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and a Gastrointestinal Pathology fellowship at Yale University. He is widely published in journals such as "World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology", "The International Journal of Gynecological Pathology" and "The American Journal of Surgical Pathology" and holds membership in multiple distinguished pathological societies. He has received the 'Attending of the Year in Anatomic Pathology" award multiple times. A former Assistant Clinical Professor of Pathology at Yale University, he is currently an Associate Professor of Pathology and the Surgical Pathology Director at another major medical university.
