This expert is highly qualified and is board certified in General Surgery. He completed a Bachelors in Science from Ursinus College and pursued a Doctorate in Medicine from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. His residency training took place at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital with a focus on General Surgery. He further sub-specialized in minimally-invasive, robotic, and bariatric surgery at the University of California San Diego. He has lectured on various topics at both the local and national levels. He formally served as a Flight Surgeon for the U.S. Navy. Currently, he is appointed as an Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency as well as Minimally Invasive Surgery and Advanced GI Surgery Fellowship at a renowned medical center and university. In addition, he is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at the same institution.
