She completed Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology at the highly regarded Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is highly active in the research community with her projects in pancreatic adenocarcinoma and cholangiocarcinomas attracting millions of dollars in funding. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed journal articles and serves as a reviewer for multiple publications including the Journal of Surgical Oncology and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery.
