Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified and dual fellowship trained expert earned his BS from Stanford University and his MD from University of Tennessee College of Medicine. After completing his general surgery residency, he went on to train under two fellowships. The first fellowship was in surgical critical care at Stanford and the second was at Vanderbilt in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. As a result, this expert is a highly skilled physician board certified in general surgery. A recipient of the "5 Star Excellent Award" for his talent in patient care, this expert has been highly successful in the academic and clinical realm. He has authored over 10 book chapters and delivered over 25 invited lectures and presentations. Formerly, he held a teaching position as Instructor of Surgery in Vanderbilt's prestigious surgery department. Currently, he is Assistant Professor of Surgery at a top tier medical school.
