Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has 30 years of experience in the field of geriatric psychiatry. He earned his BS from Muhlenberg College and his MD from Jefferson Medical College. He went on to complete his residency in psychiatry and his fellowship in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry at Johns Hopkins University. He is dual board certified in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry and is an active member of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry and The Gerontological Society of America. This expert formerly served as an associate professor of psychiatry and as the medical director of geriatric psychiatry at Jefferson Hospital. He also most recently served as the director of geriatric psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University. He currently serves as a professor of psychiatry and as the director of the vision rehabilitation research center at a top medical school in Pennsylvania.
