Dr. Howard L. Weiner has 25 years of experience in the field of Neurological Surgery, specializing in Pediatric Neurosurgery. He earned his BA in the Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and his MD from Weill Medical College Cornell University. After completing his Internship in General Surgery and his residency in Neurosurgery at NYU Langone Health, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at NYU Langone Health. He also completed a Research Fellowship in Biochemistry at NYU Langone Health and at The Collège de France. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurological Surgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Professor and Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and as a Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a Professor and the George A. Peterkin Jr. Endowed Chair in the Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine and as the Chief of Neurosurgery at Texas Children's Hospital.
