Expert Qualifications
Dr. Ilene Warner-Maron has 45 years of experience in the field of Nursing Home Administration. She earned her BS in Sociology from Thomas Jefferson University, her MA in Social Gerontology, and in Law and Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and Bryn Mawr College. She also earned a Certification and then a Ph.D. in Health Policy from Saint Joseph's University. Today, this expert is a Certified Wound Care Nurse by the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board. This expert has held a number of former roles, including as the Owner of the Institute for Continuing Education and Research. She was also the Director of the Masters of Science in Aging and Long-Term Care Administration Program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently, she serves as the Owner and President of Alden Geriatric Consultants, Inc. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychology, Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic, as well as the Executive Director of the Eastern Pennsylvania Geriatrics Society.
