Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert in mechanical engineering and biomechanics has over 30 years of experience. She received her BS in structural engineering and her MS in structural mechanics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her PhD in theoretical and applied mechanics at Northwestern University. In the past, she has served as an assistant professor of metallurgy, mechanics and materials science at Michigan State University, as an associate professor of materials science and mechanics at Michigan State University, and as a full professor of mechanical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She also spent time as a professor of mechanical and industrial engineering at Concordia University in Montreal. Currently, she serves as a professor of bioengineering and mechanical science and engineering at a university in Illinois as well as affiliate faculty at a university-affiliated research institute in Illinois.
