Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified is board certified in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. He earned his BS in biological sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and his MD from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He then completed an internship and residency in anesthesia at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego followed by a prestigious fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School. He has nearly 20 years of experience in his field and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, the International Anesthesia Research Society, and the Society of Pediatric Anesthesia. He previously held a number of positions with the US Navy and its affiliated Naval Medical Center in San Diego including serving as an anesthesiologist, assistant program director of the anesthesiology residency program, and as the vice-chairman of clinical affairs and medical officer of anesthesiology and perioperative services. Currently, this expert is the associate clinical director of the operating rooms and a senior associate in the anesthesiology, critical care and pain medicine department at an Ivy League-affiliated children's hospital. He also serves as an instructor of anesthesia at an Ivy League medical school in Massachusetts.
