Expert Qualifications
Dr. Jack S. Mandel has 49 years of experience in the field of Epidemiology. He earned his BS in Mathematics from the University of Manitoba and both his MPH and Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Formerly, this expert served as a Senior Fellow, as Group Vice President of Health/Epidemiology and Environmental Sciences Practices, and as Chief Science Officer for Exponent, Inc. He was also a Faculty Member and later, the Head of the Division of Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Moreover, he was a Rollins Professor and Chairman of the Department of Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health - Emory University, as well as the Director of Cancer Control and Population Sciences for the Emory Winship Cancer Institute. Finally, he also held the positions of Professor and Director of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. He currently serves as a Professor Emeritus in the Division of Environmental and Occupational Health at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
