Expert Qualifications
Dr. James B. Metz has 4 years of experience in the field of Child Abuse Pediatrics. He earned his BA in Russian Studies from Hamilton College, his MPH from the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, and his MD from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. After completing both an internship and residency in Pediatrics, he went on to complete a fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics years later, all at Seattle Children's Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics and Pediatrics. Currently, this expert serves as a Pediatric Hospitalist and as a Child Abuse Pediatrician at the University of Vermont Children's Hospital. He is also the Chief of the Pediatric Speciality Center at the University of Vermont Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Forensic Medicine at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine.
