Expert Qualifications
Dr. James F. Boffa has over 26 years of experience in the fields of Gastrointestinal, Trauma and General Surgery. He earned his BS from George Williams College and his MD from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the Metropolitan Group Hospitals Residency in General Surgery program. Today, this expert is board certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Swedish Covenant Hospital and as Chief of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem. Currently, he serves as an Attending Physician at NorthShore University HealthSystem.
