Expert Qualifications
This expert in clinical microbiology earned his BS in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University and his MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in clinical pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a post doctoral fellowship in bacterial pathogenesis at Tufts Medical School. This expert is board certified in clinical pathology, and holds additional certification in medical and public health microbiology from the American Board of Medical Microbiology. He is an active member of the American Society of Microbiology, and previously served as president of the society's Northeast Branch. Currently, this expert serves as a clinical pathologist at a prominent medical center in Massachusetts, where he also serves as the medical director of clinical microbiology and the program director for the clinical microbiology fellowship. Additionally, he serves as an associate professor of pathology at an Ivy League medical school.
