Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has been in the field of biometric technology for more than 30 years. He earned his BS and MS in mechanical engineering followed by his PhD in mathematical methods in engineering all at UCSB. He is active in his field as a member of many professional associations including the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He has published and has testified in cases on biometric technology, and has worked as a paid consultant to 14 national governments. He formerly served in numerous positions as a consulting and lead scientist. Most notably, he was director of biometric identification research and the US biometric test center at San Jose State University. He is currently an independent consultant in his field.
