Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has over 20 years of experience in the realm of health, nutrition, and functional medicine. She earned her BA in political science and communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her MS in clinical nutrition from New York University. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist and is certified in adult weight management. This expert is an active member in her field, having co-authored many books regarding nutrition for persons with developmental disabilities and having lectured on sequential oral sensory and approaches to feeding. Formerly, this expert served as a diabetes educator at Catskill Regional Medical Center, as an adjunct faculty member for the nutrition department at New York University, as the owner of NEWtrition, and as the director of nutrition for the Department of Nourishment Arts. Currently, this expert serves as the assistant chief of nutrition at a NY group home for persons with developmental disabilities.
