Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified expert has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of emergency medicine. He received his BA from Columbia University before earning his MD from New York University. He also earned both his MA and PhD in philosophy from New York University. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at New York University's Bellevue Hospital. This expert is board-certified in emergency medicine and holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, and the Philosophy of Science Association. He is also involved in research, having authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and spoken as an invited lecturer at various conferences. He has formerly served as an associate clinical professor of medicine and a faculty associate for the Center for Bioethics at Columbia University, as well as a clinical ethics consultant at New York-Presbyterian hospital. Currently, this expert serves as an associate professor of emergency medicine and a faculty associate for the Master's in Bioethics program for an Ivy League university. He is also an associate attending physician for the emergency department and part of the core faculty for the emergency medicine residency for a hospital system in New York.
