Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified expert in molecular and cellular pathology has extensive experience in research related to tobacco products. She earned her BA in microbiology from Ohio Wesleyan University and her PhD in molecular and cellular pathology from the University of Alabama. She then served as a clinical research associate and an instructor of vascular medicine at Boston University, where she also served as the principal investigator of multiple research studies concerning tobacco regulatory sciences, e-cigarette endothelial dysfunction, and genetic variations in patients with vascular diseases. She currently serves as an assistant professor of vascular medicine and the director of a tobacco research collaborative at a major university in Massachusetts, where she also serves as the associate director of tobacco training and education at a cardiology nonprofit.
