Expert Qualifications
Dr. Joan M. Edelstein has 50 years of experience in the field of Nursing. She earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Hartford, her MSN in Pediatric Nursing from Yale University, and her MPH and DrPH in Maternal-Child Health from the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health. She also completed her predoctoral training in Maternal-Child Health at the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health. Today, she is a licensed Public Health Nurse and Registered Nurse in California. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Clinical Instructor at the UCSF School of Nursing and as a School Nurse at Mt. Diablo Unified School District and Piedmont Unified School District. Currently, she serves as an Instructor in the School Nurse Credential Program at the California State University at Sacramento.
