Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified social worker has experience providing psychiatric care across a variety of settings. She earned her BA in women's studies from the University of California, Los Angeles followed by her MSW from the University of Southern California. She then completed social work internships at the Whittier Area Cooperative Education Program and the Sunburst Youth Academy. She has completed training in applied behavioral analysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and domestic violence advocacy and is a registered alcohol and drug technician. Formerly, she served as a social worker for the city of Whittier, CA and as a case manager and social worker at the College Hospital Partial Hospitalization Program. She currently holds social work positions at a residential treatment program, a community health center, and a substance abuse program.
