Expert Qualifications
Dr. John DuPont has over 25 years of experience in the field of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science. He earned his BS in Metallurgical Engineering from The Ohio State University and both his MS and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University. Formerly, he served as the Associate Director of the Energy Liason Program and as a Professor of Materials Sciences and Engineering at Lehigh University. He currently serves as the Co-Director of the Manufacturing and Materials Joining Innovation Center and as Site Director of the Center for Integrated Materials Joining Science for Energy Application at the National Science Foundation. He is also the Associate Director of the Energy Research Center and a R.D Stout Distinguished Professor of Materials Sciences and Engineering at Lehigh University.
