Expert Qualifications
Dr. Jonathan M. Fanaroff has 20 years of experience in Neonatology. He earned his BA from Tufts University, his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, and his MD from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Neonatology at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, as well as a fellowship in Ethics at the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics. Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Associate Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as the Medical Director of the Westside Neonatal Network at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and as a Staff Neonatologist at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital and University Hospitals Parma Medical Center. He is also a Professor of Pediatrics at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and both the Director of the Rainbow Center for Pediatric Ethics and a Co-Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
