Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert earned his BA from Harvard College and his MD from Harvard Medical School. He completed his internship in medicine at Rush Presbyterian as well as two separate residencies in ophthalmology and neurology at Wills Eye Hospital and the University of Miami, respectively. He later went on to complete his fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Today, this expert is board-certified in neurology and ophthalmology. This expert is a recipient of numerous awards related to both medical practice and university teaching. He has published over 180 peer-reviewed articles and 10 major books on topics related to his field. He is an active member of multiple medical societies including the American Neurological Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. The expert formerly served as a professor of neurology at the University of Michigan Medical Center, as chief of the ophthalmology section at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, and as an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He also formerly served as an adjunct professor of ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He is currently a professor of neurology and ophthalmology at a major medical university in Michigan.
