Expert Qualifications
This qualified expert earned her BS in natural sciences from the University of Akron and her MD from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, both at the Cleveland Clinic, and went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology at Stony Brook University Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is a member of multiple professional societies including the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology. Formerly, she served as a gastroenterologist at Island Gastroenterology and is currently a gastroenterologist at a major NY hospital.
