Expert Qualifications
Dr. Lawrence M. Shuer has over 38 years of experience in the field of Neurological Surgery. He earned his BA in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Michigan and his MD from the University of Michigan Medical School. After completing his internship in General Surgery at Stanford Hospital & Clinics and his fellowship in Neurology at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, he completed his residencies in Neuropathology and Neurological Surgery at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Formerly, he held roles such as an Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs at Stanford School of Medicine and as Chief of Staff in the Department of Surgery and Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Neurosurgery and as an Associate Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford School of Medicine.
