Expert Qualifications
This expert is board certified in medical genetics and pediatrics. She received her BS in biology from the University of Michigan, followed by an MS in molecular biology and genetics from the University of Minnesota. She then worked as a genetic counselor at Hutzel Hospital and the Children's Hospital of Michigan before receiving her MD from Michigan State University. Following her MD, this expert completed one residency in pediatrics at Pennsylvania State University, and another in Medical Genetics at Boston University. Currently, she is a pediatric geneticist and an assistant professor of medical genetics in Michigan. She has several publications on the topic of clinical genetics and is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics.
