Expert Qualifications
This highly-qualified life expectancy calculations and life insurance underwriting expert has been consulting in the field for nearly three decades. She earned her BA in public health from Johns Hopkins University and an MPH in occupational epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a fellow of the Academy of Life Underwriting and a member of the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences. She has authored over 80 insurance-related publications throughout her career, including underwriting manuals. The expert formerly served as an underwriting researcher for Lincoln National Reinsurance, Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance, and Kaiser Permanente. Currently, she serves as the principal of a private life and health insurance consultancy in Nevada.
