Expert Qualifications
Dr. Louis Guernsey Jr. has over 40 years of experience in the fields of Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. He earned his BA in Social and Behavioral Studies from Johns Hopkins University and his MD from Emory University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at Emory University Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Deputy Surgeon General for the United States Army National Guard. He recently retired as a Pediatric Pulmonologist at AI DuPont/Nemours Hospital and is now the Medical Director at Pedia Manor.
