Expert Qualifications
Dr. Marcel O. Ponton has 32 years of experience in the field of Neuropsychology. He earned his BA in Psychology from Wheaton College, his MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Fuller Theological Seminary Graduate School of Psychology. After completing an internship in Clinical Psychology at LAC + USC Medical Center, he went on to complete research fellowships in Pediatric Neuropsychology and Clinical Neuropsychology at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center, respectively. Today, this expert is licensed as a Qualified Medical Evaluator and as a Psychologist in the State of California. Formerly, he served as the Director of the Pediatric Neuropsychology Clinic and the Spanish-Speaking Neuropsychology Clinic at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He currently serves as a Consulting Neuropsychologist at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare, as the Director of the Ambulatory Neuropsychology Clinic at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and as the Owner of Persona Kids. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pastoral Counseling at Fuller Theological Seminary and an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Moreover, he is the Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Director of Persona Neurobehavior Group, Inc., A Psychology Group, where he also serves as a Neuropsychologist.
