Expert Qualifications
Dr. Mark A. Gomez has 35 years of experience in the field of Biomechanics. He earned his BA in Biological Sciences and both his MS and his Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics from the University of California, San Diego. Formerly, this expert served as an Injury Biomechanics Consultant at Medical-Legal Consultants, Inc. and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Currently, this expert is a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and the President of Biomechanics Advanced, where he also serves as an Injury Biomechanics Consultant.
