Expert Qualifications
This highly qualified expert has over 20 years of experience in his field. He earned his BS in chemistry from the Univesity of Louisiana. He then went on to complete his PhD in neuroscience from the Univesity of Alabama and his MD from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery at the University of Alabama. He then completed a residency in neurosurgery at the Univesity of Alabama, a residency in neurology at the University of Tennesse College of Medicine and his fellowship at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He is a member of multiple medical societies including the Society for Neuroscience, the American Academy of Neurology, and the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation. He has done extensive research on dystonia and has published multiple books and journal articles on the subject. He formerly served as an assistant professor of neurology and anatomy and neurobiology at the University of Tennesse. He is currently a neurologist at a private group practice and a hospital in TN. Additionally, he is a professor of neurology and anatomy and neurobiology at a university in TN.
