Expert Qualifications
This expert has 10 years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. She earned her BS in biology from the University of Central Arkansas and her MD from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Thereafter, she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Today, this expert is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She stays active in her field as a member of several professional organizations, such as the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease. Among her former roles, this expert was the director of the vulvar clinic, the associate residency program director, and an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Currently, she is an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology, the director of the obstetrics and gynecology simulation program, the medical director of the women's health service line, and the co-founder and director of the gender clinic at a university in Arkansas.
