Dr. Matthew M. Schultzel has over 7 years of experience in the fields of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He earned his BA in Psychology and his BS in Biology from the University of California San Diego. He also earned his DO from the Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After residency in General Surgery at the University of California San Diego and at Palisades Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Formerly, he served as am Adjunct Clinical Professor of Surgery at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently, he works as a General and Colon and Rectal Surgeon at Sharp HealthCare, Scripps Physicians Medical Group and Matthew Schultzel, DO, a member of United Medical Doctors.
