Expert Qualifications
This expert is board certified in orthopedic surgery and specializes in sports medicine. He earned his BS in physics and economics from the University of Virginia followed by his MD from Emory University School of Medicine. He then completed an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System and a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. This expert is an active member of his professional field belonging to the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is currently the director of the orthopedic care center and a faculty member of the sports medicine fellowship program at a hospital in New York. In addition, he is an attending physician at a private orthopedic group and a team physician for two colleges.
