He is also certified in advanced rehabilitation research and clinical neuropsychology. Receiving his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of South Florida, he continued on there to to earn his master's in rehabilitation counseling & mental health counseling. His doctorate degree in counseling psychology was granted from the University of Kentucky with specialties in developmental trauma and neuropsychological testing and treatment. Having served as president for the New York Association of Neuropsychology, he maintains active member status at the New York State Psychological Association, the New York Neuropsychology Group, the American Psychological Association and the International Neuropsychology Society. He formerly served as the senior psychologist of clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation at the The Mount Sinai Medical Center. Currently, he serves as a adjunct professor of neuropsychology at a NY medical school and a clinical neuropsychology consultant and psychotherapist at a private neuropsychology services firm.
